We are writing to let you know about some changes regarding your policy

Changes to your insurer and to who will handle claims under your policy

With effect from {{$policy_date}} (we call this your “transfer date” in this letter), the insurer of your policy will change from Covea Insurance plc to Astrenska Insurance Ltd, who are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Claimscog Ltd will take over from Covea Insurance plc as the claims administrator of your policy.

Please be assured that your cover will be continuous, and you do not need to do anything to continue enjoying the benefits of the policy.

Your monthly Direct Debit will continue to be collected as it is currently and the premium you pay will remain unchanged and your policy continues to be administered by Best Risk Management and Financial Service Limited. Please find enclosed your new Policy Schedule, your new Policy Document which contains the full terms and conditions of your cover, and an Insurance Product Information Document (IPID). .

The policy terms and conditions have been updated with the new insurer and claims administrator details, contact information and Data Privacy section. We urge you to read this information to remind yourself about the details of the cover.

If you need to make a new claim for an event that occurs before your transfer date, please continue to follow the steps set out in your existing policy wording and contact Covea Insurance plc.

What you need to do next
If you are happy with the changes, you do not need to take any action. After the transfer date your next monthly premium will be collected by direct debit as normal, and this will be taken as confirmation that you have given consent to the change of insurer. This means that your policy will automatically transfer to the new insurer.

If you are not happy with the changes and wish to cancel your policy, please contact us within the next 30 days so we can discuss your requirements.
