We are writing to let you know about some changes regarding your policy.

Changes to your insurer and to who will handle claims under your policy.

With effect from {!!$renewalEndDay!!} (we call this your “transfer date” in this letter), the insurer of your policy will change from Lloyd’s syndicate 727, S.A. Meacock to Lloyd’s syndicate 4444 which is managed by Canopius Managing Agents Limited. Canopius Managing Agents Limited is a managing agent at Lloyd’s and is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.

Please be assured that your cover will be continuous, and you do not need to do anything to continue enjoying the benefits of the policy.

Your monthly Direct Debit will continue to be collected as it is currently and the premium you pay will remain unchanged.

Your policy continues to be administered by Best Risk Management and Financial Service Limited.

Please find enclosed your new Policy Schedule, your new Policy Document which contains the full terms and conditions of your cover, and an Insurance Product Information Document (IPID).

Canopius has arranged for Trent-Services (Administration) Limited to take over from MMS as the claims administrator of your policy. Trent-Services (Administration) Limited are specialists in this type of insurance, with many years’ experience.

There will also be some changes to your policy terms and conditions from the transfer date. Please be assured that none of the changes are detrimental to you, and indeed some changes enhance your cover. The terms and conditions of your new policy are detailed in full within the enclosed Policy Document. We urge you to read this information to remind yourself about the details of the cover. The enclosed changes document summarises the changes for you.

What you need to do next:

If you are happy with the changes, you do not need to take any action. After the transfer date your next monthly premium will be collected by direct debit as normal and this will be taken as confirmation that you have given consent to the change of insurer. This means that your policy will automatically transfer to the new insurer.

If you are not happy with the changes and wish to cancel your policy, please contact Best Risk Management and Financial Service Limited within the next 30 days so that your policy can be cancelled before the change of insurer takes place.

Please note that if you cancel your cover, you will need to arrange alternative cover yourself.
